I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience in education. During my career, I have worked extensively with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral and learning difficulties, which encouraged me to obtain my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Lubbock Christian University in 2016. Additionally, I am an Advance Certified Trauma Practitioner from Starr Commonwealth. As a counselor, I have helped children, teens, and adults learn tools to overcome grief, trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, ADHD, and relational difficulties. My goal as a therapist is to empower you with the knowledge and skills you need to pursue a happier, healthier life. My approach to counseling centers around Cognitive Behavior Therapy, with play therapy for younger clients. I also use Solution-Focused therapy, drawing from your strengths and goals, to help you reach your full potential.
